In reading, we have been studying non-fiction texts. We have been learning to scan to find specific information and identify the main idea of the text. We have been able to create a time line of the life of a historical figure. In Writing we have been creating a new character and are now writing a detailed character description. As a focus, we have been trying to use similes and metaphors in our writing.
