The Graphic Communication course is designed to increase your awareness of visual communication and the impact it has on our daily life. You will create 2D and 3D graphics that transmit information, digitally and on paper whilst learning about the technologies that are used to create graphics.
At National 5 & Higher, the course allows you to respond to real-life challenges and problems. You will use a wide range of manual and digital techniques to produce graphic proposals with visual impact.
At the end of the course, your creative and technical skills are assessed in a final course assignment. This is issued by the SQA and makes up 50% of your award at National 5 and Higher.
