Health Afternoon Tuesday 26th March

Health Afternoon

Tuesday March 26th sees the return of our annual health event. This year we have chosen to have a Health Afternoon instead of the usual evening. It will begin as soon as school finishes at 3:30pm. We hope to have many engaging and exciting providers on the day to help both you and your children try out tennis, rugby, judo, mindfulness, healthy disco dancing and much more! Please come along or just drop in when picking up the children at the end of the day.

P4 Pyjama Day Friday 8th March

Book Week Readathon

As part of our Viking topic, primary 4 have decided to host an enterprise afternoon in order to raise funds for a Viking Workshop. This has been a very popular workshop in previous years and the children have thoroughly enjoyed an active approach to learning about Viking life.

On Friday 8th March 2013, as it is Book Week, the children will be allowed to bring their pyjamas and a copy of their favourite bedtime story. Children will share stories with each other and take part in a range of Book Week activities.

Please pay £1 to wear your pyjamas and help us raise funds for our Viking afternoon.

Thank you for your continued support,

Primary 4

Advent Collections

During Advent we are collecting hats, gloves and scarves for the Wayside charity in Glasgow. This is a homeless charity for adults.  Donations should be left at the school office by 14th December.

We are also collecting tins of food which will be distributed by the Little Sisters of the Poor. These can also be left at the office.

As always your kindness is much appreciated.
