Just a wee reminder that we will be holding the Dance-a-Thon on Wednesday 30th April (weather permitting). Please remember to bring PE kit and any sponsor money. Thank you!
P7 Confirmation-St Mirrin’s Cathedral
Primary 7 will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday 29th April at 7pm in St Mirrin’s Cathedral, Pailsey. Children should be there by 6.30pm. Please wear school uniform.

Eco Fashion Show
The Eco Committee have been thinking of ways to encourage other children to recycle. They prepared a PowerPoint presentation explaining the materials that can be recycled, and reminded everyone about the materials St Cadoc’s recycle. They also held a ‘Rubbish Runway’ fashion show. Each model wore an outfit made from a recyclable material to demonstrate that recycling can be fun!
Welcome Back!
Welcome back everyone. There is a meeting of the Parent Council in school at 7pm this evening. Please watch out for an important letter from the Parent Council, in the school bags today.
“Goodbye Mrs Brotherhood!”
Many of you will already know that Mrs Brotherhood, one of our depute head teachers is retiring at the end of term. Mrs Brotherhood has been a member of staff here at St Cadoc’s for 28 years and is highly regarded by staff, pupils and parents alike. She will be greatly missed by us all and we wish her a long, happy and well deserved retirement.
Rouken Glen Park
The Rouken Glen Park play area is being completely refurbished shortly and a fantastic new play facility will be put in its place.

Please note that building works will start after the Easter break and will be completed before the summer holidays. Please also note that during this period the play area will be out of use.

Managing Behaviour Workshops
East Renfrewshire Psychological Service invites you to come along to our “Managing Behaviour” workshops in Eastwood High School starting on Tuesday 29 April and running for the next 3 Tuesdays (6, 13, 20 May from 7 – 9pm). This year in addition to our usual workshops we are running workshops specifically for parents who have children with ASD. Fairtrade Award
St Cadoc’s has been awarded FairAchiever status by the Fairtrade Foundation. This is the equivalent to the Fairtrade Schools Award. The new scheme is broken down into three stages. These are FairAware, FairActive and the full award of FairAchiever. Well done St Cadoc’s!

Welcome back Primary 6!
Well done to Primary 6 who took part in a range of exciting outdoor activities at Dounans Outdoor Education Centre. They had a great time climbing trees, orienteering and solving problems. Please have a look in the P6 tab to see some photos of their experience.
