P4 Sacraments

Celebration of the Sacraments

At Mass on Sunday 8th March we are having our enrolment ceremony for the Sacraments. The children will sit with their parents and will stand to join in a special service during 10 and 12 o’clock Mass. All children intending to receive the Sacraments this year should participate in this ceremony.

The Sacrament of First Reconciliation will be celebrated in St. Cadoc’s Church on Monday, 9th March at 7pm. The children will sit together as a group and will go up to receive individual Confession and absolution during the service. It would be helpful if you practised the First Confession format with your child to help them become confident with what they are to do.

At both of the ceremonies the children are asked to wear school uniform.

Specialist Curriculum Evening

Specialist Curriculum Evening Wednesday 4th February

Please remember our annual Specialist Curriculum Evening is on Wednesday 4th February from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. This evening will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about our Specialist Subjects.

At 6.30pm parents will be invited to attend their first workshop which will be listed in the main foyer. At 7pm a bell will ring to allow parents the opportunity to move to their second workshop. A second bell will ring at 7.30pm signalling the end of our Curriculum Evening.

I am sure you will find this an enjoyable and informative evening.

Weather disruption

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the weather this morning. Mr Campbell has salted the paths three times since the school opened at 7.00am  but it has made no impact due to the thickness of the ice. As a safety precaution we have asked the children to change exit through a different door:

P1 children will exit through the P3 door

P3 children will exit through the P3 fire doors

P2 children will exit through their door as normal

P4-7 children will exit through the P7 corridor door

These are the safest routes that are the least affected by the ice. Members of staff will be at each exit to ensure safety.

Thank you for your cooperation.
