Young Enterprise

Young Enterprise Scotland’s well-known Company Programme is the ultimate business and enterprise experience for S6 pupils in St Ninian’s High School. The pupils set-up and run their own company through the academic year with support. They develop a wide range of skills and receive an invaluable entrepreneurial experience. At the end of the academic year, the young companies compete on a local, regional, national and European level to be crowned Company of the Year.

With the Curriculum for Excellence’s four capacities and the renewed emphasis on Skills for Learning, Life and Work, the Company Programme is ideally placed to add value to young people’s senior phase experience. The Company Programme allows young people to show off their innovation and creativity, as well as showcasing their entrepreneurial attitude.
