Thank you to all the parents who attended the inventions showcase and to those who assisted the children in their task. The whole school visited our showcase and were blown away by the creativity, effort and standard of work that had gone into the task.
The purpose of this task was to promote thinking skills, improve creativity and problem solving skills and to incorporate STEM into homework along with it’s presence in the classroom.
Some of our pupils were lucky enough to visit Barrhead high to gain some inspiration for our future STEAM room.
We were all thoroughly impressed at their premises and resources and the children will be compiling their information and ideas over the next few days.
