Welcome back to St Marks after a wonderful, sunny summer!

Primary 6a have gotten off to a fantastic start with this terms learning.

They have been learning about mixtures and water and exploring the use of a variety of separation techniques during science.

They have picked up where they left off, in Primary 5 with their ukulele lessons.

They have began their social studies topic which this term will have a historical focus, learning all about The Victorians. They will be reading an associated novel during literacy lessons, which will be allocated shortly. During literacy this term we will also be reading the LW3 books and deepening our knowledge of common grammar rules.

We also loved budding  up with Primary 2 and helping them to read stories and we created questions to challenge them.
