School fayre
P6a have been creating tote bags from old T-shirts to stop them going to landfill and reuse the material. They will be available to buy at the school fayre for £1 each or 2 for £1.50.
Talking and listening homework w/c 28.5.19
Today we worked in pairs and trio’s to “guess” their number. We used lots of strategies to find out the number including squared numbers, squared roots and percentage based questions.
P6a had lots of fun yesterday exploring different types of technology during National Digital Learning week. We particularly enjoyed the Shark experience on the VR headsets. Well done to our digital leaders Maab, Laura and Callum for all their work to organise such a great experience. Such Effective Contributors.
Coding with Sphero’s
As part of their Upstream Battle project, P6a have been looking at coding. They are in the process of designing a robot and have been looking at how it would move, methods of control and the range of connection required.
They used the Sphero’s, coded instructions and observed the results.

Pupils have now written,edited and redrafted their critical analysis of their chosen piece of art. They have began their class presentations which they will all present over the next few weeks.
National outdoor play day
To celebrate national outdoor play day, the children worked together to teach each other some traditional playground games such as ropes, skipping ,high tig and hopscotch.
