Lord Provost Debate – P7a had a fantastic time debating with the Lord Provost!

P7a would like to share some photos of their performance from the Burns assembly last week.

P7 had a visit from East Renfrewshire Young Carers support team today to find out all about the work that they do for young carers and what being a young career means 🙂

St Mark’s Christmas Fair will take place on Friday afternoon in the gym hall from 1 o’clock.

P7 are making “marshmen” and would be grateful for any donations to help towards making these including:

• large white marshmallows

• skewers to put the marshmallows on

• chocolate chips/sprinkles for the facial features

• strawberry laces for a scarf for the marshmen

• coloured sweeties/smarties for the nose

P7a had their spooky faces on this afternoon for Halloween fancy dress!

Well done to David and Amy who won best dressed boy and girl in the class!

Literacy and Numeracy Jotters have gone home today, this is a chance to see your children’s fabulous work and have conversations about it.

These should be returned to school on Monday.

In the red room golden time for the next 4 weeks will be maths related activities in preparation for maths week!

Children have the choice between using digital technology to develop their skills, maths board and card games or colour by number worksheets for times table skills.

Monday is the P7 Vocations Mass at St Mirin’s Cathedral we will be leaving from school just after 9 o’clock and returning before lunchtime. Full school uniform to be worn 🙂

Tomorrow the photographer will be in to take the children’s photographs, individuals and sibling photos will be taken 🙂
