St Andrew’s Day in Mearns Primary

We have had a great time celebrating St Andrew’s Day 🙂

This morning we were piped into school and assembly by Jack Mitchell (former pupil), Scott Ratcliffe (son of Mrs Ratcliffe) and Patrick Hughes (son of Mrs Hughes)

We then had a whole school assembly to mark this special occasion. P3.12 sang Donald Where’s your Troosers and Three Craws.

Our Pupil Support Assistants all received a small award to thank them for their work and support.

After assembly, we all enjoyed a piece of shortbread. The shortbread was purchased by the PTA and we are very grateful to them for this.

We hope you all have a happy St Andrew’s Day

Well done P7.27

Well done and thank you to P7.27 and Mr Tyler for this morning’s assembly.

P7.27  told us about the Jewish festival of Hannukah.

A special thank you to Aharon Soudry, Minister of the Newton Mearns Hebrew Congregation, who joined us this morning.

Finally, thank you to the parents and family members who joined us this morning.  We would welcome your feedback.
