A Busy Week Ahead
Lots to look forward to this week…
- The P1-P3 Nativity performances will take place tomorrow morning and afternoon. These events are tickets only.Â
- P6-P7 Christmas Service at Newton Mearns Parish Church tomorrow morning at 10am. Parents welcome to attend.
- P4-P5 Christmas Service in the school at 9.30am. Parents welcome to attend. Teas and coffees available.
- Cinderella theatre performance on Thursday
- Visit from George Bowie, Clyde 1 DJ on Friday morning
Nursery Nativity

Well done Davis – Kool Ride to School
Well done to Davis from P2.8. He won the Clyde 1 Kool Ride to School competition.
Davis, along with 3 friends, will come to school next Friday in a limo 🙂Â
The Clyde 1 team will be with Davis and George Bowie will be in the school from 11.30am on Friday morning.

Donations to Newton Mearns Parish Church
Donations have been packed up to be sent to Glasgow Social Work Department. We were overwhelmed with the number of gifts donated. Thank you very much.
P7 Transfer to High School
Paperwork will be sent home with P7 pupils today.
Parents should complete the Tranfer Arrangement Form and return this along with a copy of their Council Tax Award 2013-2014 to the school office.
Any placing requests should be sent to Ann Nairn at East Renfrewshire HQ by 31 January 2014.

This Week in Mearns Primary
We have a very busy week ahead of us…
Our Choir will be performing at Silverburn tomorrow morning. Many thanks to the parents who are accompanying the choir.
On Tuesday, the children will have a traditional Christmas lunch.
On Wednesday, P3 will have their Christmas party.
On Thursday, our choir will perform at the Avenue and then at the Winter Concert which starts at 7pm. P2 will have their Christmas party in the afternoon.
And on Friday the Nursery will perform their Nativity.
A very busy time with lots of fun 🙂
