Library Committee

We hope to establish a library committee comprising pupils, staff and parents in order to refurbish our current provision. Anyone who has an interest in or experience in this area would be most welcome to join! We really need your support with this venture.  Thanks to the PTA who have agreed to contribute to the development.  Any ideas and volunteers should contact Miss Cumming (DHT) who will lead this initiative.

Education City

We are rolling out a homework option across the school and I know many of you have taken up this opportunity. This facility gives the children an interactive option for homework whilst extending their skills development in Maths, Language, Science and French. We hope to maximise the potential in the coming months. Please see http://www.educationcity.com/ for additional information. We will have a demo workshop during Parents night for those of you who wish for further details .

Playwriting Opportunity for P7 Pupils

Playwriting  for P7 – S4

Tips, games and creative exercises to get the ideas flowing: from mind to paper to actors in performance. Exploring character, plot and genres, each participant will be supported in working on their own short script. This is writing for fire and fascination – perfect punctuation not a prerequisite!

At the end of the process the scripts will be performed by actors on the stage at Eastwood Park Theatre for an invited audience.
