Day Three – DLF Public School
Mrs Dillon-Ruddy and I arrived at DLF Public School today. We were greeted at our hotel by Anjali and the school captain, we then set off to DLF. On our journey we were amazed to see cows, bullocks, Tuk-Tuks and cars sharing the same road – it was a sight to behold.
The school organised a very warm welcome. We were delighted to hear some traditional Indian music from a group of talented children and staff. On entering we received a traditional Indian welcome of a bindi and fresh flower garland.
Our first stop was to an assembly with over 1000 pupils from P1 to P5, we were delighted to be guest of honour. We were entertained by dancing, the children singing a Tartan Army song and mime.
We were kept busy all in and out of all the different classrooms.
We hope that you enjoy the photographs. Please post any comments of questions.
