Last Wednesday saw Loch Ness Corridor join in with our local primary schools as part of the Community Unity initiative at the Annual Eastwood High School Ceilidh. Previously known as ‘Twinning’, Community Unity is the extension of the anti-sectarian message developed in both St. Cadoc’s and Crookfur Primary Schools.
A busy programme of events is scheduled throughout the school year and Isobel Mair School has now been invited to take part, taking our place as active participants within our new school community.
The Ceilidh was a great success and was well attended by Primary 7 pupils from Crookfur and St. Cadoc’s and a mix of pupils from our Primary Department.
Pupils were entertained by our Scottish Country Dancing Team, “Reels on Wheels” and an ambulant dance was also performed to a great reception. Well done to all our pupils!
This Thursday we will welcome pupils from St Cadoc’s who will be performing for our pupils in our MOD. More details to follow.
