In PE we have been working on our tennis skills. We were learning to control the ball by bouncing it up and down on the tennis racket and then we had to move around and bounce it at the same time. We had to really concentrate.
On Thursday the winner of the Make it hAPPen competition was awarded. The winner was someone in P6b. It was a really fun competition and lots of people were awarded an inspirational idea award and there were some runners up. We are very proud of Elise.
We have been focusing on setting this week in writing and we were describing a forest. We were trying to include our senses and feelings throughout our writing as well as using similes and metaphors to help create a clear image.
In ICT some of us were filling in our application forms to become digital leaders. We are working hard to finish them.
In maths, the cubes have start to learn about pie charts and data analysis. We have started to interpret data from different types of graphs.
In Literacy, Mrs Tear was working with us on comprehension. We are working hard at reading the question carefully and going back into the text to find the information.
