This week in Primary 2 we have been learning …
In maths the sapphires have been learning how to carry tens. We learned by looking at the whiteboard and trying it out ourselves. Alexander
In art the Tigers have been learning how to do grid drawing. We have to try and copy the exact shape in each grid. Areeb, Naomi, Emily C and Cameron
In language the Marvellous Meercats were learning how to do punctuation. We learned by completing a sheet with names on it and we had to add in the capital letters. Emily C
Mrs Grubb’s language side have also have been correcting punctuation by adding in full stops and capital letters. Naomi
In language the Wizard of Oz and the Cat in the Hat group were learning about how to answer different types of questions. Corinne
In maths Emily and Cameron were continuing with their murder mystery. They had to work out how to read a message even though it was not in code it made no sense! They finally worked out it had to be read from the bottom up!
On Thursday we all had a very fun trip to the Riverside Museum. We enjoyed looking down the old street and seeing the things we have been learning about in our ‘When Granny was a girl topic’.
We have had to write only a short BLOG this week as we are going to watch Crookfur’s Got Talent.
