Happy Friday everyone. Another week of fantastic learning in P5b.
As it was anti-bullying week we made time to stop and think very carefully about our behaviours and the behaviours of those around. We reflected on our school values and also the Rights Respecting School agenda. We had a very powerful circle time where pupils shared their thoughts and feelings about bullying. The pupils spoke openly about considering others feelings, seeing past the exterior/first impressions and about how they should conduct them selves in a range of situations. Thanks to all those who took time to speak to the children at home about respect and watched the Respect Me video. The respect leaves are looking great and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
Across the curricular areas the children enjoyed a range of learning experiences, partaking in French conversations with one another, creating gymnastic floor routines using rolling and synchronised movements and many more.
A special thanks to Alexander Sabba who delivered an excellent presentation on Judaism and shared his own experiences so confidently with the class.
Big congratulations to Holly Ashley who passed her dancing exams with Highly Commended. The school Junior Road Safety Officers have helped plan and prepare for Road Safety Week which is next week. We are looking forward to all the is in store. We are also continuing our preparations for the school show which will be on 4th Dec 🙂
Thanks for your continuing support.
