Today is social justice day in Crookfur. Primary 2 are learning about Ghandi and how he helped people. He helped Indian people to get independence and he did this in a peaceful way. – Aiden, Jessica, Emily and Alexander.

In maths Emily and Cameron were learning how to use an abacus and show hundreds, tens and units using counters. We had to make as many numbers as possible.
In maths Naomi was learning how to problem solve by completing magic squares all the sides had to add up to the same number.
In language Alexander was continuing to learn how to match the start and end of sentences from the story book we were reading. We then had to put these in order of when the events happened in the story.
In language on Mrs Robertson’s side Cameron did a talk to the class on history. He learned how to speak in front of an audience in a clear voice.
In language Aiden was learning how to sequence events of a story by ordering sentences.
In science this week we started to learn about energy. We learned that if we do a lot of exercise we lose energy through heat and we get very tired.
