Hello!

We have had ANOTHER fantastic week in Primary 5! 🙂

The Excellent Equations have been working hard on simplifying fractions and are making excellent progress. The Fantastic Fractions have been working out the area of right angled triangles and really tricky compound shapes! The Super Subtractions have been working on coordinates and are doing a great job!

In language, we have enjoyed continuing with our imaginative writing. We have been describing different settings and characters using adjectives, alliteration, onomatopoeia and similes. Our descriptions have been fantastic! We have started planning our story and next week we will be developing our plots! We hope to share some of our stories with you after the Easter Holidays 🙂

On Tuesday, we had our bikes checked for bikeability. Some of us even rode to school in the snow!!!

We have been learning about our awesome topic, The Scottish Wars of Independence and have learned lots of interesting facts about William Wallace!

In PE, we have been finishing off our creative dances which are looking great! We wrote down our dates of birth and had different dance moves for each number. We then taught our partner our dance routine and they taught their partner theirs.

In Science, we made a circuit which powered a light bulb! It was really fun!

In ICT, we have continued with our coding challenges and are making amazing progress! We are really enjoying it too 🙂

Slessor won the House Reward Afternoon!

We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!! 🙂
