TOPIC
in topic we have been learning about our new topic THE VICTORIANS
HIRAA: we were researching about how Victorians celebrated Christmas and their tradition that dyed away and that we still do.
HARRIS: its good to have a history topic the Victorian era is interesting and I cant wait to find out more.
DAVID: The topic is interesting and fun.
IN CLASS WE HAVE BEEN DOING LOADS OF EXCITING THINGS ABOUT THE VICTORIANS.
MATHS
MILES (CIRCLES): we have been learning about weights, how to convert kg into g and g into Kg. we learnt this by doing text book pages.
EMILY P.S (RECTANGLES): we have been learning all about fractions and 3D shapes, to help us learn about the 3D shapes we built them with polydron so we can visualise them better, to help us learn about fractions we thought of every day objects we could divide.
CALLUM (OCTAGONS) : we have been learning about bar graphs, we have been learning about the X and Y axes and we survey the class about what kind of lunch they were having and did a bar graph to show what lunch they were having.
LANGUAGE
SAM (MATILDAS): we were learning about hyphens and dashes and how they were used. Hyphens are used for compound word and dashes are used for extra info.
NATHAN (BFG’S) : we have been expressing our opinion by looking at debates and writing our opinions.
AYAAN (FOXES): we have been reading our new book the shrimp.
SICENCE
In science we have been doing something called topical science it is were you talk about a current issue in science e.g are we killing the great barrier reef.
