In maths this week we have been doing word problems altogether with Mrs Slorach. We done it by using different strategies’ and working out the answer with 1 method and checking it using a different method
The circles have been learning about volume and capacity and how to work out the volume of what’s inside an object.
The rectangles have been working on fractions and data handling with Mrs Slorach
and the octagon have been revising and learning more with Mrs Halliday doingadding, subtraction, times tables and finding fractions in numbers.
In language the whole class have been looking at how to persuade someone to buy something and how to use persuasive language. We have been making adverts trying to persuade someone to buy a product.
In PE we have been working on our fitness by lifting weights, doing planks with Mrs Mcgregor it was really fun !
And lastly in science we have been looking at the respiratory system and the circulatory system.
