THIS WEEK IN P5 … For a Golden Time treat we explored the art of bakery and created delicious rocky road and a sweetie cake ( it was optional and we came up with the recipes too ) we got brilliant reports from our families as they munched the food we made. This was inspired by The Great British Bake Off.
In I.C.T we presented our fabulous timelines all the way from the ancient Egyptians to just now, we also learned to create and program our own worlds from scratch, we also programed sick men on pivot.
This week in writing we have created our own haunted house stories – very spooky. We were learning about interesting openers (sentence starters) and wow words (vocabulary).
In maths we were doing some tricky problem solving on our whiteboard’s, subtraction skeletrons were rounding and estimating. Times twins were doing there times tables and their fractions. Division destroyers were using function machines to change numbers in lots of different ways we also done function machines on the big whiteboard.
Health and wellbeing we were learning about drug awareness we were learning about legal and illegal drugs.
We had a very busy week, but it was lots of fun and we developed skills in lots of different areas.
