Edible Greenwall

Our pupils had the opportunity to work with international Environmental Artist Marc Granen to design plant and install an edible Green Wall on our school building.

The pupils took part in workshops and planting sessions and are very much looking forward to using the wall going forwards as a source of ingredients for Skills Academy, but also as a scientific research station.

All of the “Busby Family” would like to extend a huge thank you to Marc for his inspiration; to Dr Lynette Robertson and the Central Scotland green Network for their guidance and support; to Alex Patience of Livegraft for manufacturing the wall and to Anthony McLuskie from Butterfly Conservation for his advice.

A huge thank you must also go to our partners at The Nineveh Trust, The Ernest Cook Trust, Tesco Bags of Help and Timberplay Scotland; without their generous financial support our dream would not have come true!
