Congratulations to all of our certificate winners at today’s Achievement Assembly.  It was a fantastic event and some of our senior pupils composed poems as part of the assembly.

They were fantastic and gave us all something to think about.

Now at last the time has come

Nobody could ever be glum

The teachers here will recognise

How our pupils are funny, clever and wise.

The pupils will always try their best

In every maths and language test

For all their hard work, they get to keep

A badge that will not be thrown in the trash heap.

But sometimes its not just about the pin

Or when you lose or if you win

The badge is just a minor part

Of something cool, a brand new start!

You’ll feel so good, your talents will shine

At Busby you will feel divine

When you leave, you will explore

That you can achieve more and more.
