This week we finished our topic Autumn Festivals. We finished by learning more about Thanksgiving.
On Monday we learned all about the foods eaten at Thanksgiving. On Thursday, as a wee treat, Miss Innes made us Pumpkin Pie to try because it is always eaten as part of the Thanksgiving feast. Only five people liked it!!
We made ‘We Are Thankful Turkey’s’. On the turkeys feathers we wrote what we were thankful for. There is a picture below of our turkeys but we are also going to tell you what we are thankful for…

Today we were busy learning about St. Andrew. We created our very own tartan and listened to some music played on the bagpipes! See the picture below of our tartan pictures!
