Fun, active maths in P.7 this morning!  Cup stacking mental, using our knowledge of angles to programme Sphero’s and expert cards for percentages.  Haven’t we been busy!

 

Thank you to all the family who came to visit us on our open afternoon.  We had great fun showing them our learning environment and taking part in activities with them.  Thank you for all the lovely feedback!

Mrs Alexander, from Woodfarm High School came, to speak to us on Monday about a STEM day that we will be taking part in at the end of October.  We made some vehicles and are starting to collect some junk materials so that when we go to the event we can work in groups to create, “Rubber Band Racers.”

We had a fantastic afternoon at Safety in the Park.  We had some sun but a lot of rain!  We took part in stations and learned about lots of different safety tips.
