Family Learning Workshops

Family Learning Workshops

 

Please join us for one or more of our workshops. Youngest family members welcome too!

Come for 9:00am welcome before a 9:15 – 10:00am friendly session.

  • Monday 24th February: Family Wellbeing + Local Family Services
  • Monday 2nd March: Developing early literacy and numeracy skills
  • Monday 9th March: Play, Communication and Positive Behaviour
  • Monday 16th March: Focus to be decided upon consultation

Pupil Council Food Bank Collection

The Pupil Council Committee have organised to collect non-food items for our local food bank. We are hoping you can raid your cupboards and donate some essential non-food items for those in crisis.

If you have any of the following  items we would be very grateful:

  • Household items – laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid
  • Feminine products – sanitary towels and tampons
  • Baby supplies – nappies, baby wipes and baby food.
  • Toiletries – deodorant, toilet paper, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste, hand wipes

Some information of our plans had previously been shared, therefore we have already received some donations. Thank you to everyone who has already given some suitable items 🙂

Collection date: by Friday 27th March to Mrs Stirling’s room.

Homework 6th January

Happy New Year!

Maths Homework – Sumdog online revision.  Remember you can only access it once to make sure you have time to do all 40 questions.

Debate  – We are going to the Provost debate on 3rd February.  Prepare 3 subjects that you think would be suitable topic to debate and write them in your Literacy jotter.  Then write a short for and against argument for each subject about a paragraph long.

Ceilidh on Friday at Woodfarm.  Remember to wear your party clothes!

Friday is also Christmas Jumper day organised by the Pupil Council.  If you wish to wear a Christmas jumper you can bring a donation for Save the Children.
