This Monday we carried out an audit of our Reciprocal Reading skills, looking at which areas we feel confident in, and which require more work. When completing reading homework this week please focus on any of the skills which you feel require more practise.
For example… if you identified that your summarising skills could be improved, try reading a few pages and then summarising back to a parent or sibling what has happened. If you struggle with clarifying, use a dictionary or parent to help you with the meaning of words. Remember to look for clues in the text about what words might mean too.
Our homework diaries have a break down of the reciprocal reading skills and can be used as a prompt.
Maths –
This week you will find your maths homework in the homework section on ‘Education City’. Please complete the three activities allocated to your group. If you have any issues with digital technology, please let me know!
