Please note, the reading homework for this week is due on Friday 6th March so children have 2 weeks to complete the reading assignment. This is only for the reading assignment.

Reading

Read a book of your choice and fill in the book review. It can be a novel, short story, comic or audiobook.

Spelling

Think of as many words as you can with the following spelling rules and record them in your spelling homework jotter. I’ve listed some examples below.

Mental maths questions on Google Classroom. If you cannot access Google Classroom please have your child let me know and I can give them a paper copy of the questions.

Write a story using ALL of last weeks spelling words. Underline all the spelling words.

Rag Bag Collection

Rag Bag Collection

The ‘Rag Bag’ recycling scheme has been developed to provide regular fundraising for schools in Scotland.

The scheme increases awareness about textile recycling and by increasing recycling rates we can help the environment by ensuring less material goes to landfill.

Help raise funds for the school with textile recycling.

Pupil Council Fundraiser

Our wonderful pupil council have had a meeting about a new fundraiser.

They are collecting for our local foodbank, however no food! They are collecting toiletry items such as shampoo, shower gel, toilet rolls, soap, sanitary products etc.

If you have anything in your house please have your child bring in their item(s) by 31st January.

We are coming to the end of our climate IDL topic. For homework this week research and take notes in your literacy homework jotter about the Australian bush fires. Using these notes, create a poster, powerpoint or leaflet showcasing what you have found out.
