Social Studies

Primary 5 voted to learn about the Vikings. This will be the new Social Studies topic for this term. We are looking forward to learning about the impact they had on Scottish society. Today we spent some time planning what we would like to do in and out of class to help develop our knowledge of the Vikings. We will be completing an ExPLORE project on an aspect of the Vikings. Please refer to page 12 in the homework diary for more details. More details to follow.

Business Success

Today, we celebrated running a successful business and making a profit. Our Sweetie Cone company was very, very popular and we sold out of all our products. We made and sold 200 Sweetie Cones! We paid back our business loan to Mrs Friel and donated money to Cancer Research UK. The project was a huge success!

Party for Miss Gallacher

It was also Miss Gallacher’s last day with us. We have loved having her in the classroom and will miss her a great deal. She will make an amazing teacher and we wish her all the very best! Good luck!
