Reading – Read the relevant pages of your book. Prepare one or two questions to discuss with your group. Please refer to the Active Reading Strategies pages in your homework diary.
Maths – Education City
Please use your log in and password details to access Education City. All activities are tablet friendly. Please spend 10-15 minutes on this daily. I will be checking your progress at the end of the week.
Spelling
Choose one active spelling task to complete.
Scots Verse
Please select a Scottish poem to recite in class. You can choose from the choices given in class or one of your own. You will need to practise saying the Scottish vocabulary and pronunciation aloud. Also, you can choose to buddy up with someone on this task. We will listen to your chosen poem next week. Good luck!

Other Information
Swimming – P5 will be starting their six week swimming block on Thursday 17th January. This will replace the double block of PE they usually have on a Monday. P5 will continue to have a single PE block on Friday afternoon.
Please remember to bring your swimming costume or trunks and towel in a bag (goggles optional). Girls should tie their hair back or bring a bobble. Do not bring shampoo or bodywash as we do not have enough time to use these items.
