Helpful Hands in P1

In Primary one we use helpful hands in case somebody falls over. This week we learned a new game making CVC words. We had to roll a dice, look at the picture then make the word with magnets. Last week we  learned a new poem. It was called Five little fishes.

This week we learned two different poems – Three little witches and the witches of Halloween. In our Big Writing we were learning to write Acrostic poems.

We have been thinking about our targets for this term.

Raine: to do more hard work in my number booklet

Ramsha: to use helping hands to help someone up

Euan: I want to work harder in all my work

Nathan: doing my handwriting

Musa: doing good listening

Oliver : better behaviour

Stella: I would like to work harder on doing tricky words

Suha: my good thinking skills

Harris: doing my handwriting

Jack: doing my new sounds well
