The event is an opportunity for the parents and carers of S2 pupils to find out more about the work that SDS do with school pupils and how they support them to develop Career Management Skills. Parents are a key influencer on a young person’s decision making. There will be speakers on number of topics to help you to support them with their subject choices and decision making.
There will be 4 short talks

and these will be presented at two slots – 5.00 pm and 6.30 pm – so that parents can attend whichever ones suit best.
In addition to the above, there will be SDS Careers Advisers available for you to speak to individually.

Our prelims for S5/6 will run from Mon 20th – Fri 31st January – 2 weeks after school is back. Pupils may wish to do some prepartion towards these over the break – although make sure you do get a break too to recharge for a busy term leading up to the SQA exams.
