S3 Exams Timetable

Next week sees the start of the S3 exams. Over the next fortnight our S3 will get their first experience of examinations. They will sit a selection of single period assessments in their subject at the level they are currently studying.

The exams will give the S3 an opportunity to practise their exam technique under timed conditions. Some of the exams will take place in the exam hall in Ralston currently being used for the ‘real’ SQA exams.

Pupil Achievements

Here are some more achievements from our fabulous young people!

This free practical training is designed to increase parents’ and carers’ awareness of bullying and the other risks and challenges children and young people face online. It includes a practical, hands-on session on social media, looking at how to set and manage profiles and privacy settings, to help ensure that children and young people are safe online.

Easter School Timetable

We are delighted to announce that our Easter School Program will run again this year.

Over the last few weeks the senior students have been signing-up for revision classes in a variety of subjects.  Each full morning session costs £3.25 and we ask that this is paid, in advance, online, using the ParentPay.

We hope that students make the most of this opportunity, and make great strides in their learning as they prepare for their SQA examinations.

Tenner Challenge 2017

Congratulations to our teams still competing in the final week of the Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge.

Eilidh, Euan, Joel and Lisa have created a limited edition CD featuring 3 raps written and performed by Euan Gilmour (S3).

Euan gave two spell-binding performances to our S3 during assembly and to the staff Teaching and Learning Group on Wednesday.

The CD – History Has Its Eyes on You – is available at the bargain price of £3 and comes with a free bag of tablet.

Maria and Erin (both S2) are producing personalised art canvases and have been hard at work fulfilling their huge number of pre-orders.

These have proven to be popular Mother’s Day gifts and are available for £5 each.

If you are interested in purchasing either product, please contact Suzanne Wallace in the Pupil Support department.
