Most of the new facilities we have in the new school have been top class and we are enjoying making use of them.

Unfortunately we have had a couple of issues that are still to be resolved … and if you ask the pupils they will tell you the biggest frustration for them is … LOCKERS!

The winter is almost on us, outdoor jackets are a pain to carry around … and we have 900 lockers in the building. We also have 900 sets of keys. Unfortunately none of the lockers were numbered and we have been waiting for the numbers to arrive so we can direct pupils to the right locker.

The good news is there are enough lockers for everyone to get one, the numbers have been ordered and are expected anytime, we have started preparing the keys to give out to pupils and we hope you will have them in the next week or two.

We are taking a refundable deposit of £5 for the key (in case it gets lost) which should be paid on Parentpay.
