Performing 1 – Continue to specialise on an instrument/voice learnt within NQ course or an instrument in which you receive instrumental lessons.  ABRSM/Trinity – Grade 4 and Above

Composition
Submit a folio of two pieces of your own music compositions using the Higher level concepts.  A Serialism 20^th Century composition and another style of your own choice will be required. You will use keyboard, your own instrument and the Sibelius Music Computer Software programme produce the final folio.

 

Listening
At Higher level pupils now explore various styles and periods of Musical development.  Audio and audio visual materials are used to engage learners to recognise Music in differing contexts.
