Overview

– Music Department Overview

Through the study of Music, pupils will experience music as a performer, composer and listener.  Music is a subject which encourages pupils of all of all ages and abilities to work towards a goal, building on their own particular talents and skills.  Pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and teaching and where possible, make informed decisions about their own work.   Developing their skills of performance and listening, encourages communication and a commitment to personal practice in solo work and co-operation in group performance.
