Pancake Tuesday in 2.8!

Recently we have been learning about data analysis and tally charts. We decided it would be a good idea to create a tally chart all about our favourite pancake toppings. We suggested the toppings and then recorded the tally marks and total. We found out that the most popular topping was marshmallows and the least popular was syrup!

Our thoughts on Outdoor Learning so far

E – “We enjoyed making up our recipes for our ice cream sundaes and making them in the mud kitchen and I got a worm in my hand.”

H – “We made stories with stones and my partner was A, we made up a story about a snake going to Sydney.”

D – “We were making sentences that rhyme with the words that we found, but they kept blowing away!!”

L – “Me and Kitty made up a story about a butterfly called Flutter and she was crying to go and find her friend. We got to tell our friends our story too.”

H – “We played with the hula hoops, we worked in partners to collect and join the letters.”

F – “Me and Archie made clown out of chalk and his name was Funny the clown and he had a horn that made people laugh.”

B – “Me and Kaden made a robot called Bob and he loved playing football.”

L – “I liked making the persons with chalk when we made up characters.”

F – “We had a lot of fun, it was very, very fun.”

What we would like to try outside…

E – “I would like to go on an adventure walk.”

B – “I would want to go for a walk in the woods.”

F – “I would like to go to the bit behind the pitch where the magical door is and explore.”

S – “I would like to make a den for the animals.”

K – “I would like to make a den to go in.”

A -“I would like to make up stories from Disney movies.”

L – “I would like to go to the Eco Garden to see if there is anywhere, that we could plant some plants.”

G – “I would like to make a little pool for animals.”
