I hope everyone is safe and well! Please try logging on to Glow and accessing the Google Classroom tile to make sure it is working. Glow log in details are stapled into the front of each child’s diary. As well as Sumdog and Education City log ins. These are great websites to use for consolidating Maths and Spelling skills. If your child does not have their Glow log in then it is because they have been absent and you should contact the office for these details unless they are returning to school then I can issue them. We are not using online learning yet, but it is best to be prepared. Please keep checking our class blog as well as the school website and Twitter for any updates.
Thank you! Miss Davidson.
Sue and Jenny who work for Coast (Community of Arran Seabed Trust) came to visit us this morning. They showed us a video clip from when they went diving and we learnt lots about the sea animals they met.

We learned all about the work that RNLI crews do.
We had to spot carefully for lifeboats during emergencies in the water.

Gemma from Dogs Trust came to visit us today. She told us about the charity, what they do and how we can be kind to and look after dogs. We are ‘dog smart’!
Joe from Dams to Darnley visited us this morning. He told us about different animals that visit his park and also showed us some of the things he has collected from his park. Here are the wings from a buzzer! Wow!

This morning we had a guest speaker from Water Aid. We use water every day. When brushing our teeth, making meals and flushing the toilet. We learned that some children are not as lucky as us.
