Our cinema trip
We had such a fantastic time at the cinema this morning!
We went to see The Secret Life of Pets 2, it was really funny!
A big thank you to Callum’s mum and Daisy’s mum for coming and helping us, the staff at Silverburn and Cineworld and also Miss Hunter for arranging our trip.

We’ve been continuing our work on measure and fractions today.
The group measuring had lots of fun measuring different characters and the group looking at fractions enjoyed colouring different quarters and finding one quarter on different amounts.
well done everyone!
Literacy
Some of us have been continuing the story of The Lorax and wrote our own endings/continuations of the story. Some of us were also being punctuation and capital letter detectives, looking for mistakes in a story and fixing them.
Maths
This morning some of us have been learning about halves and quarters and enjoyed making pizzas following customer order cards. The rest of us were learning to measure and enjoyed doing some practical activities.
Crafts
A lot of the children were quite interested in using the lollipop sticks today.
K made duck feet and A made a boomerang!
Phonics
Today we played a game where one person would write a tricky word on their friend’s back and they had to guess the word. It was lots of fun and a bit tickly!
Tooth brushing
We had lots of fun brushing our teeth together on Friday!
Pe
On Friday we had lots of fun at PE. Some of the primary 7 children planned some new games for us. We can’t wait to play them again!
