He was very proud of his tower and wanted a photo with it! 😁👍⭐️

We have been reading the Lorax story and we did some drama activities based on the book. We learned about hot seating and answered questions from the perspective of the characters. We also created freeze frames using scenes from the book. In our freeze frame, the Lorax was sad that the Once-led had cut down all the trees.

Some of us were writing our own book reviews for our reading book,  Frisky Wants to Sleep.

Some of us completed a word search to find words with ‘ng’ which is our phonics sound this week. We then wrote our own sentences with these words.

“First we made 2 big tall bits to try and reach the top of the house, then we made bits to get in and a play bit at the back. We want to get some dolls so they can play in the tower.” Rowan

• We created our own ‘all about me’ clouds. We drew and wrote things that we like and described ourselves using adjectives.

Today we discussed spooky vocabulary all to do with Halloween. We listened to spooky music and wrote our own Halloween sentences and stories!
