Today the group had a visit from Joe who works at Dams to Darnley as a countryside ranger. He helped us devise a biodiversity plan to increase the amount of insects who visit our school gardens. We then came up with ideas and wrote our plans!

Some of the children have started to learn about the long e sound today – ee and ea. The children then tried very hard to write their own words using their phonics knowledge.

The class love playing in the funky fingers area. Today, Anna and Callum made pizzas with playdough and made models too.
This week some of us are learning about words with ss and ll. We made words using foam and magnetic letters.
