Our Purpose

Our Purpose

We are consulting with all our stakeholders in our school community to reflect on our Vision, Values and Aims which are currently being renewed.

Consultation

As part of this process, we want to involve learners, parents, all staff, partners, parishioners in order to ascertain our renewed Vision, and to select values that are alive in our school through the example of our patrons.

Our renewed Vision

We have consulted with staff and families on the Vision of the Catholic School to seek views on our school’s  Vision Statement.

Family Learning about Values

A Family Learning Task has been issued in order for our families to learn together on different types of values and how these apply in everyday life.

Learning more about the Values of our Patrons

On our Patronal Feast Day, 21 November 2022, staff and pupils will be working together in our house groups to look at the life of our school patron to reflect, learn, discuss and decide what their most prominent value is. This will become a focus for everyone in our school community to inspire our young people to take on these roles.

Selecting Values that our Patrons display

During the activities on the Patronal Feast Day, each house will then adopt this value to be one of our new values for Turnbull High School. As part of this process, Values will be matched up with Virtues to give additional focus for everyone in our school community to be able to demonstrate these in our school community.
