Our School Patron

“Jesus wants to use you to make Me known and loved. He wishes to establish the devotion to My Immaculate Heart throughout the world. I promise salvation to whoever embraces it; these souls will be dear to God, like flowers put by Me to adorn his throne.”

~Our Lady at Fatima, 13th June 1917~

Consecration of Turnbull High School to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Tuesday 21st November 2017 was a
momentous day in the history of
Turnbull High School. Archbishop
Philip Tartaglia joined us in school
for a Mass to celebrate our school
adopting Our Lady (The Immaculate Heart of Mary) as our
patron. This procedure is known as
the Consecration or dedication of
the school to Mary. This
Consecration encourages us and
enables us to more fully seek
Mary’s intercession in all our
endeavours. The Immaculate Heart
of Mary is a devotional name used
to help us to more fully appreciate
the interior life of the Blessed Virgin
Mary – her joys and sorrows, her
virtues and hidden perfections, and,
above all, her love for God the
Father, her maternal love for her
son Jesus, and her compassionate
love for all people.
