We recognise that pupils at Boclair Academy are involved in a wide variety of different activities both within and outside of school.
As a school, we are committed to recognising a broad sense of achievement. Therefore, in addition to the many ways in which we celebrate achievement within school already, we would like you to inform us of any additional achievements that we may not yet know about your young person. Wider achievement certificates may be presented to children at assembly and celebrated on our Wider Achievements wall.
We are really keen to find out what young people get up to outside of school. Please do keep us up-to-date of any participation (eg: member of a local tennis club or music group), achievements (eg: player of the month, a new badge from the scouts pr gained Grade 3 on the drums) and any key life events (eg: climbed first Munro, run their first 10km, volunteered for a charity) outside of school. You can keep us up-to-date by filling in the Wider Achievement form here.
Taking part in Wider Achievement opportunities is an important part of school life as they help young people develop a wide range of transferable skills including: teamwork, leadership, organisation and creativity. Please encourage your child to participate in some of the many extra-curricular opportunities that are on offer either at Boclair Academy or within the local area.
