Thursday – Day 4

It was another great day for all of the activities and the groups were really up for their final challenges. We were all kept on our toes as the Naval base were setting off charges  throughout the day, with Mr Gallagher nearly having a heart attack on every occasion!

This evening there was a presentation from Karl on downhill mountain biking that was really informative. The disco is in full swing as this is typed and the group are having a great time.

What we learned at Ardentinny No3 – The clothes that fit in a suitcase on a Monday do not fit on a Thursday!

Day 2

The activities started today and over the week all groups will do the following; abseiling/climbing, rock hop, hill walk, orienteering, group challenge and gorge walking. The groups had a great day today and are having spag. bol. and apple crumble today.

Here are some pics with more to follow.

What we found out at Ardentinny No1 – Because an item of clothing is called a waterproof does not necessarily mean it is!

We are here!

We arrived safely, but had a big delay because of an oil spill outside of Dumbarton.

The beds are made (just) and groups are out getting to know the centre. After dinner we are going for a night walk. The weather is stunning and has to be good(ish) all week. Hopefully some pics will be uploaded later.
