Billy Green is 76 and lives at 25 Doolittle Crescent. He has recently had a stroke which has paralysed his right hand side. Billy is having 24 hour emergency care by the homecare team but is considering moving into Cariton care as a long term solution for his physical care needs and because he feels isolated in his house. He enjoys going to the coffee shop but only some of the taxis can accomodate his chair
Nora is ChristineThomasson’s grandmother. She is 83 and was a nurse before she married and had her family. Nora has a vascular dementia diagnosis and lives in Cariton care dementia unit.
Sue is a home carer for Cariton care. She has been working for the company for fifteen years. Her father Norman and sister Janet all share the care of her daughter and Janet’s son.
Allan Minto is 69 and lives with his son Hamish at 3 Doolittle Crescent. He is diabetic and has become a wheelchair user since his right foot had to be amputated due to gangrene resulring from neuropathy that occured after his wife died and when his son wasaway at Drama college. His eyesight began to fail at the same time. Allan enjoys sitting in his garden with their cat Smudge
Naresh Sula is 58. He has three daughters Prema and identical twins Tina and Mina. His wife died after giving birth to the twins. Naresh is a social worker who is based at Cariton Care. He is part of the village cricket team.
Dr Ethan Rogers is 32. He has recently become engaged to Cheryl Smith the Health Centre’s secretary. They live at 11 Doolittle Crescent next door to his twin sister Amy and her boyfriend.
James Daniels has recently gained his doctorate in Psychology. He lives with Dr Amy Rogers in 10 Doolittle Crescent. He splits his time between lecturing at the community school and working in Cariton Care.
Jim Brownlie is 34 and lives at 27 Doolittle Crescent. He is a care assistant at Cariton care and enjoys taking some of the residents to the local cafe for his favourite chai latte. Jim also organises the under 14s football team “Cariton Cheetas”.
This is Harry Scott. He is 17 and attends Cariton Community school. He volunteers at Cariton Cycle Shed and is hoping to study motorsport engineering at University next year. He lives with his foster Mum Kerry. They live at 22 Doolittle Crescent
Here is Ruby Foss. She is 15 and was born with cerebral palsy so has been in a wheelchair for most of her life. She attends Cariton Community School and enjoys drama and media studies. She wants to be an actor when she leaves school. The Foss family live at 20 Doolittle Crescent
