St Joseph, the Husband of Mary, Feast Day 19th March

In 1955 an additional feast day was declared by Pope Pius XII, St Joseph the Worker, Feast Day, 1st May.  

OUR HOUSE PATRONS

We have three House Groups in St Joseph’s Academy.  Following a review, our new House Patrons are:

St Francis – Ecology and the Environment (Head of House – Miss Cathie)

“God saw everything that he made, and behold it was very good” (Gen. 1:31)

St Carlo Acutis  – Young people (Head of House – Mrs Duthie)

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt 19:14)

St Teresa – Social Justice  (Acting Head of House – Mr Goldie)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for what is right” (Mt 5:6)
