OUR SCHOOL PATRON

St Joseph, the Husband of Mary, Feast Day 19th March

In 1955 an additional feast day was declared by Pope Pius XII, St Joseph the Worker, Feast Day, 1st May.  This is the main feast day we will celebrate as a school community.

OUR HOUSE PATRONS

We have three House Groups in St Joseph’s Academy.  Following a review, our new House Patrons are:

St Francis – Ecology and the Environment (Head of House – Miss Cathie)

“God saw everything that he made, and behold it was very good” (Gen. 1:31)

Blessed Carlo Acutis  – Young people (Head of House – Mrs Parker)

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt 19:14)

St Teresa – Social Justice  (Head of House – Mrs Marshall)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for what is right” (Mt 5:6)
