Dear pupils, parents & carers,
If a learner requested one or more appeals (via the school or learner direct) after receipt of SQA results in August 2022, the school will learn of the outcomes of these next week from Monday 31st October. School staff will speak to learners directly to let you know the outcome of your appeal(s). If you have left St. Joseph’s Academy since you registered your appeal, we will attempt to contact you by telephone or email to inform you of the outcome. We hope to inform all learners of the outcome of their appeal by the end of the week.
When you find out about your appeal result, it’s normal to have some questions. Please read the information leaflet below which tells you how appeal outcomes were decided and answers other commonly asked questions.
Its important that you understand the following points:
- the appeal outcome is final and there is no further means to appeal
- the SQA cannot provide individual feedback on appeals outcomes.
Naturally, school staff will be able to give you advice & guidance if this affects your options choices for next year or future pathways.
Kind Regards,
Miss Quigley
